The wider fellowship
A global field for public inquiry, shared learning, governance, publications, and relationships across distance.
The fellowship
Sodalitas Quaerentium is a digital-first philosophical and initiatory fellowship of equal seekers: intellectually independent, responsible to one another, and engaged with the world.
Its aim is not certainty. It is intellectual and emotional self-command—the ability to reason without making truth answer to pride.
Why it exists
Many institutions ask people to choose between wonder and critical judgment, between independence and belonging, or between inner work and practical contribution. Sodalitas is an attempt to hold those tensions honestly.
It is for adults who want to investigate difficult questions, examine themselves, form durable friendships, create, serve, and be challenged without handing ownership of their minds to a leader, doctrine, symbol, or crowd.
We gather not because we possess the truth, but because the search for it is too important to undertake alone.
Digital-first, not digital-only
A global field for public inquiry, shared learning, governance, publications, and relationships across distance.
Small, stable groups intended for conversation, reflection, accountability, and mutually requested help—not government, therapy, admission, or discipline.
Physical communities for gatherings, friendship, service, and embodied practice, rooted in local relationships and accountable to the wider fellowship.
Forms of fellowship
Inquiry, symbolism, self-knowledge, friendship, bounded mentorship, professional mutual assistance, creation, service, contribution, and ritual as a voluntary embodied marker of informed commitment.
What this is not
Not a religion, cult of personality, hierarchy of enlightenment, promised career network, or claim to final truth. It offers no guaranteed chapter, mentor, advancement, or outcome.
